Jeff Schultz was placed on waivers, I think we should take a gamble on the a former 1st round guy thats 6'6 along with a veteran like ference scudwri or hainsey. Kris russel is on waivers as well, is he any good? |

It's said that the Red Wings won't pay Vinny more than 5M a year. I guess Vinny wants 5+ ? If that's the case, you could probably rule out DET.. |

All the guys on waivers only have one year left then are UFAs and are low-risk waiver claims if they do go.
Expect the Islanders to jump on one of them. Their defense is a joke, their 2nd highest paid guy is Carkner at 1.5 |

Wild, wacky idea: try offering Vinny a 1-year contract.
Allows him to be a UFA next year, and return to Tampa Bay. |

At 6'6 230 pounds even if he is left on thr 3rd pairing, he would be a good pick up and would fit Nonis and Carlyles system and criteria |

Half their team is waivers, might as well keep on that road. |

Do you get the feeling that Nonis has Snow on speed dial, desperately trying to get him to bite on Komi? |

I think so. Allows for each pair to have an offensive guy and more of a defense guy. Haven't looked at what hand he shoot and how he fits in though |
